Adult Sunday School

Faith Formation is central to our life together at BPC! Before worship each week, we gather at 10:00 am for a time of study, fellowship, and discussion. While focused on helping us grow in our relationship with God, these groups also provide community and relationships that extend beyond Sunday! We offer three distinct small groups to meet your faith formation needs!

Discussion Class

Meets in the last room on the left of the Education Wing

The Discussion Class is a safe place where we talk about
passages and stories from the Bible, intellectually and
personally, to help us better understand God’s Word. Through analyzing and exploration, we exchange ideas
and hopefully come away with a clearer grasp of God’s will
for us all.

The Ish Group (The Little Richard Class)

Meets in the first room on the left of the Education Wing

We were formed for the purpose of connecting with others within the 20ish to 30ish age range. God brought us
together to welcome all who aim to understand the world
through not only our own life experience but most importantly our relationship with Christ.

Monday Night Bible Studies

Throughout the year, we join together for a time of rich study and discussion on Monday Nights. Each series lasts 4-5 weeks and is centered on a particular topic for our collective study. Through wrestling with our Bibles, group discussion, videos, and artwork, we seek to grow in our faith and apply it to our daily lives.

We join for snacks and fellowship at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall, and the study begins promptly at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Women's Circles (Small Groups)

Our Congregation has two women’s groups (called Circles) that gather from August to May for a time of fellowship, prayer, and study!

Soul Searchers

Soul Searchers usually meets on the second and last Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall (check the calendar tab for that month’s dates).

This is an intergenerational group of ladies from various backgrounds, denominations, and life experiences. They pick a book to study or various topics for a season.

Huggers

Our Huggers Women’s Circle meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. This traditional Circle begins with baked goodies followed by a time of study together.

Each year, these ladies host a “Soup Sunday” where they sale vegistable soup to the church/community. The funds are then given to local mission partners like Walk with the Docs, Cancer Association of Anderson, Shalom House, and Wounded Warriors (among others).

Lunch Bunch

Each month, we set sail to another local (and sometimes not so local!) restaurant for a time of laughter, good food, and community!

Each month, we meet on a different day of the week, so you can join us on your lunch break or your day off!

You can either meet us at the restaurant or at the church as we carpool together! If you are able, we highly recommend joining us at church and carpooling together, as the drive to and from the restaurants is one of the most memorable parts of the adventure!
